This Privacy Policy explains what information OfferPilot AI ("OfferPilot," "we," "us," or "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, desktop application, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
We aim to collect only what we need to provide the Service.
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from your Google account, namely your name and email address. We use this to create and identify your account.
- Background you choose to provide. To tailor answers to you, you may provide your résumé and background text in the app. You choose what to share, and you can review, change, or clear this content at any time.
- Usage data. We collect limited usage information, such as your plan, daily active minutes, and feature usage, so we can operate the Service and enforce plan limits.
- Payment information. We do not collect or store your payment card details. When you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your card information directly under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive only limited billing metadata, such as your subscription status and the plan you purchased.
Note on audio and screen content: transcription runs on your own device, and your microphone audio and screen captures are not uploaded to us. Only the transcribed text you submit is sent to generate an answer, as described below.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account;
- Personalize the Service, including tailoring interview and coding answers to the background you provide, so responses are grounded in your experience;
- Enforce plan limits and provide the features included in your plan;
- Process subscriptions and billing through our payment provider;
- Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service;
- Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service, and comply with our legal obligations.
3. Third Parties & Sub-processors
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run the Service. These sub-processors act on our behalf and are permitted to use your information only to provide their services to us:
- Google: for authentication (Google Sign-In).
- Stripe: for payment processing and subscription billing.
- AI model providers: the interview and coding text you submit is processed by AI model providers to generate answer and code suggestions. These providers process that text to return a response.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers: for hosting our servers, website, and supporting infrastructure.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
4. Data Retention & Security
We retain your account information and the background content you provide for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your Rights
You have choices and rights regarding your information:
- Access and correction. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- Deletion. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information by emailing support@offerpilotai.ink.
- Clear your background in-app. You can review and clear the résumé and background text you have saved directly within the app at any time.

6. Cookies
Our marketing website uses minimal cookies and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies or local storage we do use are limited to what is needed for the site and app to function, such as keeping you signed in. Because we keep this simple, there is no advertising profile built from your visit. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children. It is intended for users who are at least 16 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@offerpilotai.ink and we will take steps to delete it.
8. International Users
OfferPilot is operated from, and our service providers may process information in, countries that may have data protection laws different from those in your country. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an appropriate level of protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
